Day 1
Discover the Mara River — Simbavati Migration Camp
Fly into Kogatende Airstrip, where your thrilling Serengeti experience begins. Transfer to Simbavati Migration Camp, a luxurious under-canvas camp that moves with the Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Driving distance approx. 150 km (2.5 hrs). Accommodation: Simbavati Migration Camp or Aurari Camp. Meals: lunch and dinner.
Day 2
Mara River — Great Migration
Depending on the season, witness dramatic river crossings, the calving season, or the rutting stage of this incredible natural phenomenon. The area offers year-round game viewing with large herds of elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and apex predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Day 3
Mara River — Great Migration
A third day in the northern Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives, or a full day out with a picnic lunch, following the herds wherever they lead. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4
Central Serengeti — Meliá Serengeti Lodge
After breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the park. On the way, you may visit a Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Enjoy an en-route game drive before arriving at the luxurious Meliá Serengeti Lodge. Choose between a hot lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch in the wild. Driving distance approx. 129 km (2 hrs). Accommodation: Meliá Serengeti Lodge or Nimali Serengeti.
Day 5
Central Serengeti
A full day in the Serengeti, world-famous for its abundance of wildlife including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, topis, buffalos, and hartebeests. It's also home to the Big Cats — lion, leopard, and cheetah. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 6
Serengeti Half-Day & Transfer to Ngorongoro
Start with an early breakfast and enjoy a half-day game drive in the Serengeti. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a scenic game drive en route. Driving distance approx. 145 km (2 hrs). Accommodation: Ngorongoro Lodge (Meliá Collection) or The Wilderness Collection Ngorongoro.
Day 7
Explore Ngorongoro Crater — to Tarangire
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most famous wildlife destinations and the best place to spot the Big Five in a single day. Enjoy a full day exploring the crater floor before driving to Oliver's Camp in Tarangire National Park. Relax with a soothing spa treatment or unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Driving distance approx. 95 km. Accommodation: Oliver's Camp or Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge.
Day 8
Tarangire National Park
Spend your honeymoon's final days exploring the picturesque Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds. The park offers excellent wildlife sightings, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 9
Tarangire — Departure
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive and a cultural visit to a local village for an authentic Tanzanian experience. Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Driving distance approx. 171 km (2.5 hrs).
